The Club at Ibis is the only country club that boasts three unique and impeccable 18-hole championship courses designed by the Nicklaus family.
- The Legend course was designed by none other than Jack Nicklaus, also known as the Golden Bear of golf. Described as one of the nation’s “Most Distinctive Courses” by Golfweek magazine, this course offers scenic views while testing your abilities.
- The Heritage course, designed by Jack Nicklaus II, boasts mounding fairways and impressive bunkers. It was hailed the “Most Women-Friendly Course in America” by Golf for Women magazine.
- The Tradition course was designed by Jack’s son Steve Nicklaus. It offers smaller greens, contoured fairways, and undulating land areas, giving it a charm similar to traditional Scottish links.
Practice facilities
The Club’s practice tee box spans 144,000 square feet, with a covered double-sided driving range. There are also synthetic turf target greens and two new USGA-specification chipping greens. An X-shaped fairway pattern between the target greens allows players to practice a wide range of shots. The corners of the range houses three short game areas and a golf equipment fitting studio which features the latest technology from Flight Scope and SAM Putting Lab. The game area on the north end is often used for short warm-ups, whereas the game area on the south end is for longer practice sessions and features TopTracer technology.
TopTracer technology
The Club at Ibis is the first club in Florida that features TopTracer Range technology that delivers instant shot replays and data tracking of your shots such as swing speed, ball speed, and curvature. These are synced with the app on your phone, allowing you to immediately review and make adjustments to your swings as you’re playing. Members can have friendly competitions by using the app’s skill-based games, making a typical golf day even more exciting.
Top-notch instructors
The Club hires professional golf instructors befitting world-class facilities. The instructors at the Ibis Golf Academy have been led by PGA director of instruction, Martin Hall, since 1998.
